The CCUS JV develops strategic partnerships with industrial production plants to implement the CCUS technology and reduce the production plant’s CO2 emissions. The strategic partners will work with the CCUS JV to help install the CCUS technology in their industrial production plants. The installed CCUS models will reduce the production plant’s CO2 emissions and generate tax credits for the capture of CO2 emissions.
Syzygy Asset Management, LLC (SAM) is a growth company with a business model focusing on developing and supplying carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) technology to the energy and cement production sectors. SAM has entered a joint venture with CAPTICO2 AS, a carbon capture technology company (CCUS JV, based at of Norway). The CCUS technology company has licensed the proprietary technology to the CCUS JV.
The joint venture has exclusive distribution rights of the CCUS technology in North America. The CCUS JV will utilize the licensed CCUS technology to capture CO2 emissions from fossil fuel power plants and industrial production plants throughout North America.
Syzygy Asset Management LLC is based in Atlanta, GA and will manage the CCUS JV operations in the United States. The CCUS JV headquarters will also be based in Atlanta, GA. The joint venture will expand office space in the Atlanta area as the company increases operations in the United States.
Project description
The CCUS JV will source the industrial materials to construct the CCUS equipment in the United States. The CCUS JV will select manufacturers based in the United States to construct the CCUS equipment. Installation of the CCUS equipment will be contracted to industrial construction firms under the supervision of the CCUS JV and the CAPTICO2 engineering team. The equipment and installation will be reviewed and approved by the targeted facility site.
Our Structure
CAPTICO2 and Syzygy Asset Management LLC own the CCUS joint venture formed in the United States. CAPTICO2 is based in Norway and will license the CCUS technology directly to the CCUS joint venture. CAPTICO2 owns 51% of the CCUS JV, and Syzygy Asset Management LLC owns 49% of the CCUS JV. Syzygy Asset Management LLC is Georgia Corporation, formed in 2018.
